I’m making the transition from using Etsy as my main shop to Storenvy instead. It’s free and totally customizable! I just finished the design and I’m pretty happy with it.

Step into the spotlight in the coolest of shades with a nod to retro Hollywood glamour. Tom Ford masters sexy chic with frames that bring stylish drama to any look, day or night. Make a statement and prove your future’s so bright with this purrrfect DIY.
To create, re purpose an old pair of sunnies by adding a shapely accent. Decide on the shape and style for your pattern and trace onto paper. Create two of these and “test” on your sunglasses to make sure you’re happy with the shape and size. Trace the pattern onto a think black piece of fabric or leather. Use glue to secure onto each frame.
I Believe In Sherlock Shoes | by Elise Jimenez
I finally finished them! I’m really happy with the way they turned out even though the colors are a bit crazy.
Looking forward to wearing them with my Sherlock shirt from teefury.com.
If you like them or want any kind of custom shoes…I’m taking commissions!
Almost done!
Craft Adhesives: The Basics | Lemon Jitters
Having a good kit of adhesives is not only great for crafting, but for everyday life too! On the weekend I needed a hot glue gun and mine was heating to about toast temperature and the only other glue I had was wood glue. Not great for attaching cabochons to clips. You may not need all of these adhesives, but read the article and work out which ones will be the best for your needs. E6000 is next on my list!
Beatles For Sale Sneakers | by Elise Jimenez
These sneakers were already old when I decided to doodle on them so they look a little beat up, but I’m happy with how they turned out anyway.
The Dark Knight Handpainted Sneakers | by Elise Jimenez
I made these shortly after the movie came out to wear to NYCC that year. They were a hit! And they’re still one of my favorite pairs to this very day.
Even though they are water and uv resistant I still get nervous wearing them because I don’t want to ever mess them up.
(side note: Crystal over at whokicks.tumblr.com and a search on tumblr for the tag #custom shoes has inspired me to start painting shoes again and I’m going to start taking commissions. The page will be up soon!)
